I love photography – in all aspects…from concept, capturing moments, retouching, and restoration. So, I was very excited to start working on a large photo restoration project for a client, restoring 65 photographs dating from the 1980′s all the way back to the 1940′s. Some of the photos are just simple color cast removal, contrast correction and enlargement, but the majority of the photographs are badly scratched, damaged by water or sun, faded and some are even ripped in two.
